Jim Valenti breaks the news to the aliens and their friends that Alex was killed in a suspicious car accident. Max attempts to revive the already dead Alex, but sadly cannot. The gang must then deal with their overwhelming grief over losing their beloved friend. When the investigation into the car accident leads Valenti and Max to believe that Alex committed suicide by deliberately driving his car into the oncoming path of a truck, Liz blows up and refuses to believe it. Liz begins investigating on her own, finding a photo of Alex and his Swedish girlfriend defaced literally with Alex's head missing. But the weirdest clues are the passage from a Robert Frost poem and the credit card slip that Alex signed just before his death, the strange part: he signed it 11100100100111011001

I think this might have been the one episode I cried the most at... especially during scenes with Maria or Isabel... those two were, I think, the most affected (out of the group).

Who didn't cry? I atleast always cries when I see this episode.. Yeah, Maria and Isabel took it the hardest I think.. Liz didn't seems to take it so hard (in the beginning ofcourse, but not later) it might have been because she was so devastated to know who killed him, so she didn't really had the time to think of his death..

Exactly, she was distracting herself with her investigation and never really took the time to mourn properly like Maria and Isabel did.

Yeah, wich I think she should had, but if she did I guess we would never know who killed and Alex and then mabye Max would have left to antar and the whole story would have been different!

I honestly think that would have been very interesting to see. I mean, the entire third season would be different without Max around

Yeah, but then I guess it wouldn't be Roswell, as most people think of Max, Isabel and Michael when they hear the word "Roswell". But the whole season would definately be different.. Can't really imagine how it would be..

Yeah, I mostly just think of "aliens" and "obsession" when I heard the word Roswell ;D But seriously, even though Max annoyed me to no end, it wouldn't have been the same without him

:'(There are tears in my eyes just looking at the pics on this thread. I think Liz was just so driven and out to prove that Alex would never have killed himself that she pushed her grief to the back of her mind. Isabel lost what was probably the love of her life and of course Maria, her childhood pal. Can't choose who would be more badly effected by the tragedy. Made by-monkeycgm

Great art Karen. I cried like a baby when I watch this episode. I love when Maria sings Amazing Grace though.
